Heres another batch of outdoor tintypes to add to the collection.
The one above is a little unusual, not in that she doesn’t look too happy, nothing unusual about that but its in the landscape orientation rather than portrait for a single sitter.
This group reminds me of the work of Julia Margaret Cameron especially “Alice Liddell as a Young Woman”.
This one throws me a little, on close examination this could well be studio set and not outdoors at all, its elaborate if it is indoors but I suppose if you fake it you may as well go whole hog and make it as realistic as possible.
And as for this lady sitting on a bench, she’s a touch creepy to say the least.
