A mate of mine, Andy, visited on the weekend for a few beers as we’d not met up in quite a while (3 years…oops). We popped into the studio for a couple of hours and shot a quick couple of plates.
Andy has a running joke on his FB page of taking exactly the same pic of himself with his coffee mug every Saturday morning to say good morning to his mates, this started as a one off but now he’s stuck with it and has to keep up with it, this Saturday he was in Manchester without his mug so he borrowed one of ours.
The one above is a 5×7 tintype f4 for 8 seconds.
This one is a quarter plate ambrotype f4 12 seconds…
What fab photos…..love the one of Andy without the coffee mug (like both)….but that is quite wonderful !
