Old roll of Kodak Verichrome Pan

Kodak Verichrome Pan developed in ID-11 1-1 dilution for 12 minutes.

I was very surprised to find the exposures almost without any fogging and quite strong negs. The final exposure (not shown) was well overexposed from me trying the shutter out at the car boot sale where I bought the Kodak Vest Pocket camera.

There is some deterioration to the emulsion as can be seen but I’m very pleased that these images have survived. Now we just have to figure out who, where and when?

The most suggestive of the images is the one containing the car, which I’m reliably informed is a Ford Anglia and the number plate NA is Manchester from 1959 onwards, so that’s a good start.

hey…those photos are fab. Did you buy the camera in Manchester? Wouldn’t it be amazing to find out who the people are? My first ever boyfriend had an old Ford Anglia…such a cool car!

Good idea Katia, all we’ve got so far is a Manchester reg’d car. The For Sale sign, RAC badges and sign further down the street haven’t the detail on the neg unfortunately.
So its down to someone identifying the people, car or street!

ooh you should send them to the Manchester Evening News…maybe they’ll publish them and help find the people!

    Really cool! Amazing photographs…
I got one of those Kodak and I’ll be converting a 35mm film to fit the camera…
