Great weather here in the UK this weekend. Up early this morning to go to a car boot, why they start soooo early I have no idea, by the time we get there people are packing up and going home…..
Not much decent gear there camera wise but did manage to find three things.
This Fantastic book “The West: An Illustrated History by Geoffrey C. Ward”. Its full of great examples of Dags, ambros and tintypes of the “Wild West”.
Also got this photographic painted print, similar to the colour one from a few months ago but this one is monochromatic.
And what every photographic studio needs…
I did also go to the studio to mix up a load of chems. Unfortunately I managed to miss out Ferric Ammonium Citrate from my extensive list last week. One of the main ingredients in Cyanotypes and Van Dyke Browns. Doh. Will have to get some this week.
