Another set of vintage beach imagery to add to the collection. Three framed 1/6th plate ambrotypes and one tintype.
No clues this time as to where these were taken. The three ambros came together, two of the plates are of at least one family, the tintype is a separate purchase and I found of interest because of the background crowd and seating area. Just seemed a little odd compared to how plates are usually composed at the seaside.
Again the ambrotypes have been “blacked” on the collodion side of the plates.
