I had a lovely day yesterday, providing a wet plate collodion workshop to Ely and Orrin.
Then light was pretty good most of the day, exposures between 6-12 seconds.

They picked it up really quickly and shot some lovely plates. A mix of tintypes and ambrotypes mostly using daylight but Orrin also used the 4K head for his last plate.

This 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 inch glass plate should make an interesting print.
There were a couple of interesting errors and curious pours but I prefer people to make these little errors and learn from them during the workshop.

A really lovely session and some great plates.

Well done both.
And if anyone fancies a workshop just get in touch.
Lovely. Which lens did they use? Thanks 🙂
Hi This was with a Dallmeyer 4B.
Cheers
