This strikingly brightly coloured cased arrived today. It’s whole plate in size and in surprisingly good condition. The detail in painting close up is really good, someone must have had a steady hand.
The closed case is 22cm x 17cm
The window mount is not painted card as expected but brushed and polished thick brass sheet. Its pretty heavy and unusual.
No other details on the reverse of the card, the paper used to secure the print to the mount has the remains of text in French.
