Cat kill in its coffin

This little chap was brought proudly to me by Thomas today, he brought it into the lounge, dropped it on the rug and miaowed a couple of times to brag of his hunting skills, so it was a nice and fresh subject. I’ve found they decompose fairly quickly.

The second tin plate below I tried to shoot three times and each time the mouse? was out of focus…I like the shot so I’ll try this again next time but maybe as a whole plate to get more of the detail.
