Frank meet Bessy

In my continual search for a smaller 6×6 rangefinder, this little beauty arrived on my desk this week.

A Voigtlander Bessa 66.

My usual go to medium format folder is the Franka Solida III but I’m going to give this little Bessa a try.

This is a Simple version not the Deluxe. So only has the “window” viewfinder rather than an optical one. I’ll see how it goes and search for a Deluxe version later down the line.

I’ve no idea which lens this one has has the front lens ring is missing with that info but the shutter has f3.5 setting wide open.

Also the Frame Counter window cover is missing its switch, it still turns but the hole will need covering with a little tape.

All in all not bad for a fiver.
