Heres two of my first plates taken on World Wetplate Day, maybe it was the ether but it went a bit downhill from here, shooting my best plates early on. Need to invest in a head brace of some sort as Johns tintypes were much sharper than my ambrotypes, he’ll put that down to skill but I’d say the brace helps a lot. Also you’ll notice four finger marks on the hoodie plate. I let Neil pour the plate and boy he must have had hot fingers.
