I bought these blind off Feepay, was worth a punt as I thought they would be great fun for the studio and any that weren’t suitable I could sell them on individually.
To say the colours are a little garish would be an understatement. The lady I bought them off said one was an Old Masters style and couldnt remember what the others looked like. Probably blanked it out as a traumatic visual experience. Oh and she said she didn’t buy anything tacky…..God help what the other choices were.
Five 10ft by 20ft painted backdrops from the US and one smaller one.
I hung the larger ones from one of the overhead pipes to see how they would come out in wetplate, as some of those colours were a little dodgy/weird. I’m not sure which we’ll be keeping….if any!
Heres the results as quick whole plate ambros F4.5 for 20 seconds in the far side of the studio, opposite the windows.
I love the one with the arch and columns. The others are a bit indistinct.
Yep the columns one is my favourite also…..I also don’t mind the maple leaf one also as its a bit random and indistinct.
