Got to love a good old seaside postcard. I’ve blogged about some from my collection in the past. Heres two new ones of Childrens Corner, Scarborough. 1908 and 1909.
At first glance a busy beach scene and on closer examination you can see wet plate beach photographers at work with their portable darkrooms, buckets of water and cameras atop tripod shaded by darkcloth.
And another, you can almost make out his name….
