I was contacted today by Rachel Nordstrom, event organiser, with an open social invite to all wet platers to come along to the St Andrews Photography Festival, especially on the 25, 26 and 27th of August.
There will be a number of Northern Alternate Photographic practitioners at the event including Richard Cynan Jones (granted North Wales is Northern I guess) and an outdoor tintype studio for the public to see the process and have their plates made. This is along with lots of other great events that month. Check out their Facebook event page here.
Get in touch with Rachel via the Event page if you’d like go along, say hello and maybe get involved. You must have all your own kit and be self sufficient in the field if considering shooting wet plate.
