Date is 1874 according to the serial number.<\/p>\n<p>Soft focus by turning the lens barrel.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13174\" src=\"http:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/2018\/03\/DallmeyerSoftFocus.jpg\" alt=\"DallmeyerSoftFocus\" width=\"576\" height=\"432\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/DallmeyerSoftFocus.jpg 576w, https:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/DallmeyerSoftFocus-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 576px) 100vw, 576px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It was advertised as having a chip in the element but turns out its a bubble in the glass, looks like there are some cleaning marks also.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13175\" src=\"http:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/2018\/03\/DallmeyerGlass.jpg\" alt=\"DallmeyerGlass\" width=\"432\" height=\"576\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/DallmeyerGlass.jpg 432w, https:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/DallmeyerGlass-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 432px) 100vw, 432px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Serial Number is 22400, which is a little exciting if the online documents are correct. This would make it the very first Dallmeyer 4B off the production line??
