Beth had completed a wet plate workshop over a year ago and had got in touch about a refresher course with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also brought along a camera\/lens kit she had purchased for wet plate and needed some advice, we also discussed further kit, chemistry, technique, and workflows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had some problematic first plates which were good to work through, I think some issue with a very cold silver bath which I’d not seen before.<\/p>\n\n\n

We used a variety of cameras and lenses, moving on to studio lights as daylight was shortlived.<\/p>\n\n\n

We also covered various finishes like Ren Wax and Shellac varnish.<\/p>\n\n\n
