So it&#8217;s going to need glueing and strengthening with timber or brass brackets. I&#8217;m not sure why someone would do that, so I&#8217;ve removed it.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the first pic, you can see there&#8217;s a good 90 cm extension. The bellows, which I think I can salvage with a bit of creativity, extend to about 80 cm.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here, you can see the bed extend from the front, rather than the narrow section from the rear, if you see what I mean.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\r\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" class=\"wp-image-24538 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/2024\/03\/PSX_20240308_195216.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/PSX_20240308_195216.jpg 800w, https:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/PSX_20240308_195216-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/PSX_20240308_195216-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/PSX_20240308_195216-520x390.jpg 520w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ground glass focus screen was a poor DIY job, so I&#8217;ve updated it with bright silicon carbide ground glass. Since moving to a new studio I&#8217;m having to refind where I put things when I unpacked.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So a good start and just a few bits left to sort.
