A couple of weeks ago I took a drive over to Shipley to pick up a load of Bowens Quadmatic flash kit from a photographer who had retired decades ago but still rented studio space. More about that later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I just about fitted all of this in my van….<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are 19 mixed heads @1000 -3000 w\/s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eleven power packs all @1.5K (two are spares and repair)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And crates full of modifiers, softboxes, barn doors, cables and slaves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m now thinking… what on earth was I thinking!?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also having had a nice van drive through Shipley I later find out Bradford has a Clean Air Zone in place. (Not well sign posted) and a fine for \u00a3120 arrived though the post. \u00a360 if paid quickly plus the original \u00a39 CAZ fee. \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyway, back to the chaps studio space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He rents about 3000 square foot for about \u00a350 a month through a not for profit charitable organisation called SKIPPKO<\/a> , and I though Spinner Mill was reasonable, think I might have to ask for a rent discount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
