And the centre section looks to come from the Morning Post &#8211; Friday 29 September 1848 and documents the trial of the midwife found responsible for the death of Eliza Wilson during an attempted abortion.<br><br>I doubt that these newspaper cuttings are contemporary to the plate , but I&#8217;m surprised they are several years earlier and not later. So probably spare cuttings and a later reframe. Its tempting to carefully open the frame to see what other info, if any, lays inside about the plate.<br><br>Along with the camera lot from auction, it was an added bonus, to find that also included was as a solid 12&#215;15 inch contact printing frame. One of my previous Hunter Penrose camera camera with a similar contact frame.
