I poured a plate in the darkroom, sensitized and dev&#8217;d etc. A clear plate. So no to that.<\/p>\n<p>I then tried a different silver bath (thanks John)<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3396\" title=\"problemplate03\" src=\"http:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/problemplate03.jpg\" alt=\"problemplate03\" width=\"504\" height=\"389\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/problemplate03.jpg 504w, https:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/problemplate03-300x231.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 504px) 100vw, 504px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Eureka! A nice clean plate. So maybe the silver bath. I tested the sg of my bath&#8230;..sg 1.05 oops should be nearer 1.07. 20g of Silver Nitrate later and we&#8217;re back to normal-ish.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3397\" title=\"problemplate04\" src=\"http:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/problemplate04.jpg\" alt=\"problemplate04\" width=\"504\" height=\"385\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/problemplate04.jpg 504w, https:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/problemplate04-300x229.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 504px) 100vw, 504px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A little bit more silver and it should be right. And judging by these plates <a title=\"http:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/?p=3366\" href=\"http:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/?p=3366\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&#8220;Plates of Kirsteen&#8221;<\/a> it looks to be sorted.
