I already had silver nitrate.<br \/>\nThe paper is just some old WHSmiths ring bound scrap book paper.<\/p>\n<p>11g Silver Nitrate in 80ml Distilled H2O<br \/>\n10g Salt in 500ml of Distilled Water<br \/>\nPreWash salt bath<\/p>\n<p>I used a very dilute Rapid Fix due to the lack of Sodium Thiosulphate. Maybe not a good idea but when needs must.<\/p>\n<p>Paper was immersed in the salt solution for 5 minutes and then hung to dry. Coated with a cotton wool pad and one with a brush.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/2013\/05\/Salt1.jpg\" alt=\"Salt1\" width=\"483\" height=\"336\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7104\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Salt1.jpg 483w, https:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Salt1-300x208.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 483px) 100vw, 483px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Contact printed with window light. Overcast at midday, North light.
