{"id":9590,"date":"2015-08-07T11:01:31","date_gmt":"2015-08-07T11:01:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/?p=9590"},"modified":"2019-08-28T19:26:36","modified_gmt":"2019-08-28T19:26:36","slug":"wet-plate-negatives-1876","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wet-plate-negatives-1876\/","title":{"rendered":"Wet Plate Negatives 1876"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been digitising a pile&nbsp;of Ambrotypes, Dageurrotypes and negatives (wet&amp;dry) that have been sitting in a box at the studio over the past few months.<\/p>\n<p>These two quarter plate wet plate negatives were in a small job lot box, with an ambrotype of an elderly lady, and I hadn&#8217;t really paid them much attention until I picked them up to digitise.<\/p>\n<p>They are of Mrs Neath dated 4\/9\/76<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9591\" src=\"http:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/2015\/08\/MrsNeath1.jpg\" alt=\"MrsNeath1\" width=\"385\" height=\"504\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/MrsNeath1.jpg 385w, https:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/MrsNeath1-229x300.jpg 229w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 385px) 100vw, 385px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9592\" src=\"http:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/2015\/08\/MrsNeath1Crop.jpg\" alt=\"MrsNeath1Crop\" width=\"400\" height=\"504\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/MrsNeath1Crop.jpg 400w, https:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/MrsNeath1Crop-238x300.jpg 238w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I particularly like this one. 22nd October 1872<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9593\" src=\"http:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/2015\/08\/MrsNeath2.jpg\" alt=\"MrsNeath2\" width=\"398\" height=\"504\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/MrsNeath2.jpg 398w, https:\/\/fourtoes.co.uk\/iblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/MrsNeath2-237x300.jpg 237w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 398px) 100vw, 398px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The detail is amazing.
