I know this is really early but we need to see how much interest there is in holding the 2018 UK Wet Plate Weekend at Guys Cliffe House in Warwickshire.

Thank you to Ray Spence for organising in advance this venue, and for sorting a recce of this well known photography location.
The 17th – 19th August 2018 are the dates pencilled in at the moment.
As per usual arrive Friday to set up darkrooms/tents and then shoot all day Saturday and Sunday. There are some restrictions to access times with certain gates being locked at 23.00
There will be free onsite camping and a decent local pub.
Onsite catering as in coffee/tea/light refreshments are included in the current price.
And theres the rub, it does look an amazing space but it does come at a cost. we need to pay for access to the site and for the groundsman to be in attendance.
We’ll need 20+ photographers to bring the shared price down to a wallet friendly level. £40 – £50 per photographer.
I’ll make a pinned post as usual on the UK Collodion Facebook page where you can have your say, wether you like the idea or not, would prefer something else or that you’d rather not be paying to attend such an event??
Ray has put a lot of work in so far in organising this, thank you Ray, hopefully there will be enough takers to make this event work. And its a little easier for some of you Londoners to get to….
