Today is my first day off with my new part time contract and I’m sitting at home exhausted with a chest infection after two weeks away in the “Campervan”.
I’m just clearing out the van and remembered this mammoth albumen print behind the drivers seat, that I bought for the change in my pocket at Aberaeron market.
How a 17×21 inch albumen print of Niagara Falls by J. Zybach & Co ends up being in a small West Wales village I’ve no idea.
A little search online…
“On June 6th 1893, the Zybach and Brundage Company were granted an exclusive ten year lease to operate the hydraulic lift, the Under the Falls attraction and photography business at the Table Rock.”
When I get chance this week I’ll make blog posts for the recent Phoenix Alternative Festival and the UK Collodion weekend I’ve just returned from with this stinking cold.
