As part of the Levenshulme Festival Charity Art Auction I donated a wet plate session to a lucky bidder/winner.
That person was Michelle and she popped into the studio today to see the wet plate process and sit for a couple of plates.
These are quarter plate ambrotypes. F4 for six seconds. I hope she enjoyed it.
The test plate?… oh go on then, here it is. This one was with “very ripe” collodion, maybe passed its best.
Well done to everyone involved with the Auction Night and an even bigger well done on raising over £4700 for Canceraid.
