Decided to collect a few old tintypes, there are loads on fleabay US, for only a couple of pound each. Content wise I’m looking for anything that makes me smile or an interesting face. There are plenty to choose from in all sizes.
Here are four that arrived today.
The two “couples” are small 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 and the two gent portraits are half plate size. They are incredibly sharp and detailed. I love the look of the chap sitting with his wife pinning him down….
