This week was the first week of Gum Dichromates. The examples John had shown us the first week looked as if this process might have its uses, again for certain negs and certain styles.
I wasn’t that taken with it, but apparently by adding additional layers the images greatly improve. I was also surprised at how fragile the wet surface can be, as shown in one of the following images scrubbed with a brillo pad, just to see what effect it had.
Next week we’ll be coating these with further gum or VDB/Cyanotypes.
