On the reverse of the card is written in pencil, “Summer of 1874 My dear mothers friend”.
Photographer is J.E.Smith of Springfield, Ohio.
I think its great to have a card and a tintype of the same person. He even has the same suit on! So more than likely taken in the same sitting.
