This week was the Van Dyke Brown process. A little different from the cyanotypes of last week but I prefer the end result although I’d like to see some toned cyanotypes to compare to these VDB’s.
First attempt was a little poor, coating the paper is best done in subdued or safe light conditions, and this led to a large uncoated area as seen in the images. Following coats were much better.
Exposed with controlled UV box for 70 seconds.
5×7 images.
