In amongst the bag of bits of old studio lamps, stands and power cords was this lamp. It was in a very sorry state but after a few hours of cleaning and reassembly of the most useful parts it now looks pretty good.
A solid heavy base that clamps onto a brass dome for swivel and adjust. At the moment it just has a large Osram bulb from another box fitted, I might get one of those elaborate element ones. Not bad from a bag of bits…
