I bought this for a couple of £ as it looked a little unusual. I have no idea what a “Dovertype” is, all I know it was produced by Dover Street Studios, London. I can only find brief mentions of it online.
Here it is mentioned in line with a Polychromide Print? Anyone like to translate?

It looks like a sandwiched image on glass, it has some deterioration bottom right, but there is great detail in the image. I’m assuming of a Bride?
