Portugal cyanotypes

I made a number of cyanotypes yesterday from the previous days 5×4 negatives.

And as usual applied a variety of toners.

From top left:

10 minutes exposure, water wash, partial bleach as over cooked, coffee then tea.

7 minutes exposure, water wash, coffee.

4 minutes exposure, 2 caps cidre vinegar in water wash, coke zero bleach, coffee 🙂

4 minutes standard cyanotype.

4 minutes, half cap cidre vinegar in water wash, random Chai teabag.

7 minutes, 2 caps cidre vinegar in water wash, tea.

The Coke Zero surprised me acting as a fizzy bleach, and random Chai teabag were a nice combination.

These are on some cheap generic drawing paper from the Euro shop. The cyano chems are now seven years old! and still going strong. Slightest bit of mold in one bottle but easily avoided.

I wonder what other photochems I can bring over with a long shelf life? I have some RC paper somewhere here, I’ll find it and do some Lumens.
