New stand for my Watson & Sons camera…

Its taken a few months of emails back and forth but today we went to pick up my new studio stand.

I was meeting the owner in the little village of Askham in the North of the Lake District. It was lovely and sunny when we arrived so we decided to take a dip in the village Lido, yes they still exist, it was great. An outdoor heated swimming pool followed by a quick beer in one of the local pubs.

So here it is. My Watson & Sons whole plate studio camera fits it perfectly. It could do with a good clean and a polish. And its missing the tilt mechanism from the head section, but thats no problem really.

To say I’m really pleased with it would be a major understatement….
